Santana let out a dry laugh at Sugar’s response, “Well, you sure as Hell had me fooled,” she said with a shaking of her head before an eyebrow lifted itself. Secluded, right. It always had to be secluded. It always had to be subtle. It always had to be a secret. She was getting downright annoyed with all of the mysterious business but it wasn’t like she could do much about it. Everyone seemed frightened of her uncle - including herself - and they didn’t want him to know a damned thing. Who was she to blame them?

She turned her gaze back up and towards the starry sky, only looking back when Sugar mentioned that her father was working for her uncle. That was kind of fucked… But then again he had to have people working with him if he had taken over an entire fucking school. Sighing, she turned her eyes back up at the darkness before turning completely and looking over at her. “No, no I didn’t… How’d you find out?” She asked with genuine curiosity as she regarded the other brunette.

Sighing a little bit louder than her norm, Santana folded her arms across her chest. “He must have a few people working for him,” she said with a shrug. “Maybe even some of the teachers. How else would he have been able to take Figgins down?” She breathed out as she shook her head. It was kind of painful to think about, to think that her professors paved the way for this to happen. But how else would any of that have been possible?

The sides of Sugar’s mouth turned down as Santana asked her question. “Your uncle,” she answered. “My dad didn’t even tell me himself. I didn’t even find out until they’d taken the school,” she admitted honestly. “He’s been here this whole time and I haven’t even seen him. I don’t know if that’s good or not, you know?” She sighed, “I didn’t even know he cared about blood purity. What else don’t I know about him?”

She wondered if all the gifts and plushy allowances over the years had been a big distraction that she’d fallen for. Wondered if she’d been too interested in shoes and getting owls from Charisse to notice her dad was working with a convicted death eater.

“I guess he had to have some help…I wonder who all it was.” She had only really seen two prominent figures in her dream - her father and their new headmaster. Did she only see her dad because they were related? Or was he just as important to all this? “How long do you think they had been planning all this?”
