I usually am right, so no surprise there. And yes, I’m a pureblood. I’m not too sure what to make of all of this, I’ve never had any reason to give it any thought before… I mean why think about things like blood purity when I could be like shopping in France, right?

Sebastian just let Sugar talk. That was why she was here in the first place, wasn’t it? To talk at somebody who wouldn’t just tell her to fuck off. Sebastian vaguely wondered at what point he became the type of person who’d let Sugar Motta ramble at him, but he comforted himself with the knowledge that going along with it was almost certainly better than the alternative with her.

“I don’t think people are exactly being rational,” he said lazily, pulling at the curtains of his bed and contemplating just pulling them around him to block her out. “People expect to freak out about their OWLs. They don’t expect to freak out about a Death Eater taking over the castle and implying that he’s going to kill people on a massive scale. Comparable, of course, but not quite the same.” He punctuated the thought with an eye roll that he didn’t think she could see—not that it mattered if she could.

“Yeah, the glasses,” he said vaguely. “Nobody’s making you sit there, or be up here, or anything, you know. I’m sure Artie would prefer it if you weren’t rolling around in his bed, too.”

She shrugged. “How are we even going to get the tests if they’re controlled by the Ministry, anyway? It’s not like they won’t notice that Figgins is gone and the muggleborns are cooped up in their rooms.” She bit her lip, “Do you think anyone’s turned themselves in? If they did then they’d have been sent home, right? I mean we haven’t like heard any cries of agony,” she grimaced, “Unless you count my room mate who sounds like a dying animal when she cries.”

“I smell awesome, he’ll be fine with me on his bed - which I am totally just sitting on and not rolling around on thank you very much!” She shot him a glare and rolled her eyes. “How do you and Artie get along anyway? I would assume he’s too nice for you but then again you are friends with Quinn.”
